FBA Orders that require some form of related Preparation

If there are requirements to prepare inventory for your FBA order, such as labelling products with FNSKUs or building kits, then a related Work Order and corresponding inbound shipment will be needed. This is to say that for these types of FBA orders, any FNSKU labelling and/or Kit Requests must be created before the FBA order is created.

The Order Of Operations for a Kit To Stock FBA Order is as follows:

  1. Create a Work Order Type of "Kit To Stock" via the Sales Order Endpoint populating all required fields.
  1. Create an Inbound Shipment via the Inbound Shipments Endpoint populating all required fields.
  1. Create a Sales Order via the Sales Order Endpoint populating all required fields.

Once created, the FBA order will be assigned a status of Hold. The order will remain in this status until the warehouse sends the order to Amazon, receives the inbound shipment plan back from Amazon, and begins picking the order. Once picked and packed, the warehouse will sync the details of the shipment to Amazon, and it will be ready for pick up.
